Wellbeing Tips from ChatGPT

Don’t believe everything you read on the internet. Here are some tips for rural medical students going through exams.

1. Create an Emergency Snack Stash

  • Stockpile your favorite snacks—chocolate, chips, or Tim Tams—like a squirrel preparing for winter. Remember, a well-fed brain is a happy brain!

2. Study with a Cow

  • Set up your study space next to a friendly cow. They’re great listeners, and their calm demeanor can help you feel relaxed. Plus, they’ll never judge your notes!

3. Make a Dance Party Out of Study Breaks

  • Every hour of studying deserves a dance break. Crank up the music and do the “Boogie for Biology” or the “Cha-Cha for Cardiology.” Bonus points if you involve the family pet!

4. Pretend You’re on a Reality Show

  • Imagine you’re the star of “Survivor: Exam Edition.” Create alliances with study buddies, and vote out distractions like social media and Netflix. Remember, only one can win the title of “Ultimate Medical Student!”

5. Outsmart the Weather

  • If it’s a scorching day, study in the fridge. If it’s cold, consider the sunroom. Adapt and conquer like a true Aussie—just don’t forget your snack stash!

6. Dress Code: Pajamas Only

  • Who says you can’t study in your pajamas? Make it official: Pajama Day Every Day! It’ll keep you comfortable, and if you feel too stressed, you can always roll yourself into bed.

7. Motivational Quotes from Animals

  • Create a wall of motivational quotes—but make them animal-themed. “You can’t be a great doctor if you’re not lion about your study habits!”

8. Create a ‘Bad Advice’ Study Group

  • Form a group where you share the worst study tips imaginable. “Reading the textbook backwards increases your brain power!” You’ll laugh your stress away.

9. Channel Your Inner Bush Ranger

  • Go on a “study safari” in your backyard. Wear a hat and carry a stick. If someone asks, just say you’re “researching local wildlife”—which, let’s face it, might include the neighbor’s cat.

10. Practice Your Acceptance Speech

  • Prepare a heartfelt acceptance speech for when you ace that exam. Make sure to thank your coffee supply, your snack stash, and that one motivational cow you studied with!

Remember, laughter is a great stress reliever. Embrace the humor in the chaos, and you’ll find studying a lot more enjoyable! Good luck!
